Windows STOP: error

when i try to use media player, my PC BSOD's and give me the following error:

STOP: 0x0000008E (0x80000004, 0x8085C152, 0xBAC05940, 0x00000000)

i recently installed the "www.tweakrus.com" 84.21 Forceware drivers, for my New 6800GS.

i have a Northwood P4 3.4, 1GB of Geil Value (the blue stuff) and an Akasa 400w PSU.

anyway, what does my Stop error mean? if you need more details, just ask.

Very thankfull for some help.

Gonna guess its not happy with the new drivers. Remove them and try different ones.

will do. any suggestions? only had an Nvidia card for about a week.

Go to www.nvidia.com and only download official drivers, these should stop these BSOD's

thanks muchly. the official Nvidia drivers seem to have stopped the BSODs.
