Windows Store - licensing - xbox profiles etc.

Hi,

I'm tempted to buy pacman championship edition for my win8 laptop. How does the licensing work?

All my other machines are currently on Win7, but i suspect eventually i'll need to make the switch to have them all 8.

If i buy this game, will i be able to download it on other machines, assuming they're on Win8 with Store access ?

How exactly does the windows store purchases work? Like Steam, regardless of machine, with you for life?

I'm using the same profile as what the kids use on the xbox. However previously any thing i purchased that needed live logged in, if they turned on the xbox, i got kicked, and vice versa. Is it the same deal with any new Win8 games? not sure how it all works.

Comes out on Steam 25/09/13 wait until then. I bought it on the Win 8 app store back in Jan 20013 as its a such superb game could not wait to see if it got a Steam release!

The Win 8 Apps Store allows you to play games on PC same time as kids are playing on the 360 the new Xbox For Windows does not kick you off like GFWL did if you use the same gamertag but the Steam version uses Steamworks only. The win 8 app store purchases are like Steam though ties to the gamertag for life. Halo Spartan Assasult is on the Win 8 Aps store as well now BTW

Dang, bought it earlier. Wish I'd known it was coming out on Steam, since my main machines are still Win7. Oh well, looks like i may be adding yet another copy of the game to my collection. Already bought it on the PS3, 360 & iOS and today on the Win8 store, so why stop the trend, and not get it on Steam also. :p

Know what you mean its a great game I bought on XBLA/Win8/Steam now ;)
