Hi guys,
I did a bit of admin yesterday on my Mum's Windows 11 rig and I noticed a bit of an issue with the Windows Store. She doesn't use the machine a lot, probably half a dozen times a month, so whenever she does use it, there are usually some updates (Windows, drivers, 365 etc.) waiting...
Yesterday, I did all the Windows updates, restarts etc., and then I looked a the Windows Store. I think it was okay initially, it updated a few bits an bobs, restarted itself a couple of times (I would assume a Store update itself?) but now it appears to try to update the Store Clock and Calculator maybe and there is also a Windows Store update. They all seem to download, the Store then closes and reloads by itself and when I check, the updates are still there. The same ones- it's like it's stuck in an endless loop.
Any ideas? - I know sometimes these things work themselves out after big updates and take a bit of time to settle but I thought I'd ask
Thanks.
