Windows tablets

I found an old Bay Trail tablet the other day from my brother years ago. It still works but is horribly slow. Just looking for neat things I could do with it? Besides recycling it I guess. The last thing I remember doing was syncing a Wii classic controller and trying to run FEAR on it.

I've got an old Kindle Fire which I use as a smart display / controller for my smart home? I expect that if you stick a lightweight Linux distro on there you could do something similar.
