windows taskbar

i have just had a new computer with windows 7 on after using xp for the last 10 years i'm finding abit different as you may know...i want to put shortcots onto my tascbar but 7 wont let any help plz big thanks to all.john

right-click what you want and choose "Pin to Taskbar"
slightly different to XP as you've noticed, but you soon get used to it!

Yep windows 7 is a bit different but when you get the hang of it it is 1000 times better with little things liek pinning programs and another favourite is (windows + arrow keys left or right) to vertically place your programs at the right or elft of the screen.
