I signed up to the TPS years ago. it made no difference.

Indians don't care about uk regulation law . it has long been exposed that companies are selling personal data illegally between themselves - they no longer rely on current listings. this does mean that the infirmation they have is old though. they always ask if my gran is there - she died 7 years ago.

my colleague is indian - he answered an indian based genuine sales call - once they knew he was indian they offered to sell him all kinds of confidential information....for a laugh i told him to see if they had credit card info...he asked his manager and was told he could:eek:

"Yes yes ok sounds serious, but my pc is quite old and takes a while to boot up hang on ill go turn it on......."

5 minutes later

"yes yes its on now....o wait...damn it crashed, dont worry this happens sometimes."

10 minutes later

"So how do you sleep at night ripping people off you ****"

*phone goes dead*
 
My ideal scenario:

stranger: "we have detected you have serious virus and will lose all your data! trololo"
me: "uh hi, yes please help me!! what do i do?"
stranger: "ok go to your computer and press Start"
me: "what's start? it's already turned on..."

...1 hour later...

me: "OHHHH... sorry I'm running a mac should I have said that first?"
