Windows time keeping bug ??

My windows (Win 8.1 64 bit) no longer keeps time. Its not just a little out but loses hours/days per day!

I wouldn't mind really but I have some copy protected SW that uses time stamping so I have to remember to reset the time/date each time I use it.

Now, initially I thought it might be a dying MB battery but the date/time in BIOS is spot on!

What might be causing this??

I tend to point everything at uk.pool.ntp.org. You should be able to set this (or an alternative) on most of your devices, PCs, router etc. Or set it on one and set the rest to sync to that.

But tbh I would have thought the default ones in Windows should be fine, so your issue may be else where.

Do you get any Win32Time entries in the system event log that may point to the issue?
