I have just changed my password in one of my windows accounts, and was amazed by the amount of unsuccessful sign in attempts against my account brazil,Poland,Ukraine to name a few. Are these all Human based is someone sat in his grannys back room trying to hack my account?
Question is what should i do, i have a 20 character password and authenticator app attached to the account. Should i turn 2 step verification on?

Unless you were being specifically targeted, it will be automated attempts trawling through leaked email and password lists. Once your e-mail address has become known via one of the countless data leaks, there isn't really much you can do to stop it.

Generally it isn't something you should really be concerned with; set a strong password with two factor authentication, or turn off the password entirely and use their passwordless option to sign in via the app.
