Last night, windows update wanted to restart, no problem. it got stuck on 15% so in the end i had to just hit the power switch.

Now its blue screening with and IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL_THAN

If my memory serves this is just run a chkdsk / "Repair" in the windows 7 recovery console?

or safe mode and roll back to the system restore prior to it trying to install the update
thast exatcly the reason why it makes that system restore

then before retrying the update might be work chekciing the disk and running a memtest to exclude hardware errors, then retry the windows update

mm the disks are brand new, and it hasnt had an error until the windows update, im pretty sure its just upset by me pulling the plug while it was updating
