Windows Update KB 3097877

It's been replaced with a 'fixed' version with the same patch name (Which is useful) now. If you ran Windows update on Tuesday before the Americans woke up you'll likely of had the broken patch but if you've ran it since it should be ok.

Something to do with an exploit within a font/HTML5, kept crashing a few of our client's Outlook programs.

:EDIT: BTW - Windows 10 section isn't the best place for this since it actually didn't seem to effect Windows 10 users.

It came through by itself on another update check i did on Wednesday morning, so i likey got the fixed one then, seen as i had no probelms with it :)

Got loads of support calls about issues caused by this. It makes Outlook go totally screwy! Just look at it wrong and it crashes!

Do Microsoft do this to test us?

Just found out about this one (after id already installed it this morning, luckily, no problems), apparently it causes loads of issues, so just a heads up.

It would save time to list what doesnt cause blackscreens in windows 10 :)
