windows update prob

A friend of mine has just rung me with an unusual problem--she has auto updates selected on her puter and its telling her that theres updates downloaded and ready to install but cant as the system is unstable!! WTF how does it know?? shes says its running ok with no probs, i havnt heard of this one before has anyone else got a clue?? :confused:

Could be she's actually reading a spyware window claiming the instability?

shes bringing it over in a couple of days ill let you know--ive been looking around the net looking for similiar probs but i cannot find anything close :confused:

windows update doesn't care about stability. Sounds like spyware or by unstable it means she has some dodgy or corrupted files in there.
