From about two days ago everytime I turn off my pc it downloads a new update. However when i turn it back on it sticks on the configuring page at 0% for a few minutes before reverting back to before it installed the update:confused:

Try simply restarting - Windows doesn't install updates if you choose Restart instead of Shutdown. It might sort itself out.

I have had similar on my windows 7 PC, if you go to windows update through start, program files and install the updates, then restart it should be ok.

I've just had the same problem..got two BSOD's as well for some reason?..anyway they installed ok this evening ;)

Thanks installling them in windows updater seems to have worked it went to the config screen then jumped to desktop so I guess its all good :p

this seems to have been a problem with the last 3 updates for windows 7 X64. There are a few people who have posted with this problem. I also had it i just restarted and left it and eventually it loaded to desktop.

Careful lads........had the same hang at 0% for 10mins before logging in and restarting to find it had to install updates again.
Someone I know reset their computer when it looked frozen at 0% and banjaxed their install.
