So applied a Windows 10 update on my PC, which involved it restarting etc.

I noticed the rotating working dots were moving VERY slowly... Almost hardly at all...

And now there's just the blue screen with no message, and seemingly no disk activity.

This is after 45 mins!

Any suggestions!?

Which Windows 10 update you applied caused blue screen?
God knows... The PCs not been connected to the internet for three weeks, so what ever it wanted to...

I rebooted the PC and it's up at a desktop. I suspect the update failed. How do I see if what version I'm on... And how can I see if there's any updates to download - eg: The one that just failed?

I suspect it's the "Creators" update that's failed, and hasn't applied to the PC in question. Is there anyway to make windows look to see if it needs to update (again)? At the moment I'm backing up the C drive again. My last backup is 2 weeks old...

Also just got an update request on my second PC too (also hasn't been connected to the internet for 3 weeks).

I've said, "not now" on that one!
