Windows update

hi

Everytime i go to install a certain update i get the same problem, only this update fails to install.
tried it numerous time's since my first install of vista but nothing :confused:

Error: nVidia - Network - NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller

Any ideas.?

have you check if there is a newer driver for your nic?
could try manaully installing it, see if that helps

Yeah went into device manager and searched for an update for it but it says it is upto date, maybe that is why its failing to install.?

Just bloody annoying seeing it everytime i get prompted to do some updates

If you select 'hide update' it shouldnt bother you again.

I had the same problem and like you hid it.

Bizarrely, I have exactly the same problem with the Realtek onboard NIC on my motherboard. Windows Update will often find an updated driver, install it once, find the update again and then fail every time until I hide it. Very bizarre.
