Windows updates doing nothing?

Anyone else had problems with windows updates on windows 7?

Recently put a new SSD in a works laptop and everything is working fine apart from the updates.

Windows is activated and have tried all the hot fixes including windows repair.

Its a decent machine for the office i5 and 8gb ram so ruling out it being to slow.

Windows 7 mate

Have tried all hotfiexs and Windows repair - Made sure Windows is activated and the date and time are correct.

Left it for a couple of hours max so far.

Thanks Guys - Will keep my eye on it.

Its not picking them up for me so far so will leave overnight.
