Windows updates win 7

Anybody ever have trouble with window updates?

I have around thirty updates which include security updates and windows explorer updates that keep on failing.


Error codes are Code 8024200D & Code 80246007.
I have followed all windows help advice and looked everywhere on the net for a fix but nothing has worked.

Its a relatively new install so i don't know what went wrong.

Don't try to install everything all at once, some updates don't play well with others at all, when you run Windows Update have a look and see if they are all ticked by default which they shouldn't be normally. Only install the ones which are ticked to begin with and then re-check for updates after a reboot, if that fails then just install them one by one.
