Windows updates

I have a HP laptop and I like to download windows updates myself so I set the automatic updates to notify me but not download the updates. However everytime I go back its set to automatically download and install the updates. How to I stop it from doing this, its really starting to do my head in? Thanks

Thanks Dan buts thats the option I keep selecting and the next time I switch my machine on its back to automatically download and install the updates. Coomputers, got to love em
