Windows user account issue

My daughter has somehow logged into her Microsoft account with my local account.

The user name is still my name, and everything on the PC is identical - but it now shows her email address on the account. It's been like this for a month or so and not really bothered me - until I've started my VPN and it says I need permission to run this application.....

How do I remove her email (and account association) from my user?

I've created another local user, but everything has been reset.

I'm very tempted to just reinstall Windows and start fresh, but apparently a local account is impossible these days :(

Frustratingly this can be easy to accidentally do, especially if you use Edge. She might've tried signing in to check her emails, but then could have been prompted to sign the PC in with her account, which ended up linking to your local account. You should be able to sign out in Window's Settings -> Account.
I think she signed into the Microsoft store to download Minecraft.

If I hit sign out it'll take me back to the log in screen. It says my name but has her profile pic.

I can't find any setting to remove her account. I can create a new account, but lots of apps/progs/settings are all different.

I'll give it another go this evening, if that doesn't work I nuke the boot drive and start again
