Windows User Lost on Mac. . .

Right well not so long ago I switched to Mac from windows and and have a couple of quick questions...

Is there any free software I can use to take snapshots from the webcam? I use the webcam with Skype but need to take some pictures for ebay etc. I did have a look for built in functionality but couldn't see anything.

Also in Windows you had the option to play all audio files in a folder simply by pressing the "Play All" button. Is there any way to do this on Lion without creating playlists etc using itunes?

Use Photobooth for snapshots.

Not sure about your second question. You can play audio files in QuickTime, dunno if it supports queues though. There may be some alternative media software.

Try VLC. Drag the folder to the Playlist.
