Hello I have Windows Vista Home Premium and I have acquired (legally!) a Windows Vista Ultimate key. I want to upgrade my HP install to Ultimate. However, when I use the anytime upgrade link, it takes me to the MS website and asks for payment details etc etc. What I'm looking for is where to type in my new key and change my install to Ultimate?

Thanks!

I'm not sure if this will work but try going to the Control Panel and then System, then at the bottom of the page is a link to change Product Key. Maybe simply putting in the new key will unlock the Ultimate bits?

I've tried that but it just says the product key isn't valid for Vista HP

looks like a clean install then. the dvd contains all editions and will install the one that matches the key you enter.
