Windows Vista disk

I want to restore one of my computers, i don't have its vista disk anymore so i was wondering if i could use my OEM vista disk that was used on a different computer. If i use the oem disk and the computers product key would it work?

Was the lost disc an OEM disc?

No, its a packard bell full of all the useless junk that it was shipped with. I have an OEM disc that i want to use with a normal key.

Should be fine. You can boot from your OEM disk and input the key before making any changes to the system anyway.
