windows vista installation oem

hi i was wondering if its possible to install windows vista (oem version) on my computer that was built by a company selling on ebay, originally i had a cracked version of xp home.
The computer messed up because of a problem with windows, so i've formatted the hard-drive. Will the oem version of vista work?
Also, is it more appropriate to buy vista 64 bit than 32 for general home use and gaming?

You can install it, it will need to be a fresh install with it being OEM.

You might want more memory though, get it now while its cheap.

yep do a fresh install and ** good to go just make sure you don't change ** mobo after you install it our you will have to get a new licence/new copy
