Windows Vista - Internet Sharing?

Hi,

Can you tell me if the following is possible? I have had a bit of play to get it working but had no luck.

I have a Laptop with a separate Three 3g USB dongle which works for the internet. I also now have a Kindle Fire which I want to use on the internet. Is it possible to share the 3g connection from the Laptop with a Kindle Fire?

If so can you give me some pointers on how I would do this, or post a link.

I looked into this myself and the only way i could do it was to buy the router from 3g that you plugged the dongle into directly. They have since replaced this router with the mifi which works even better ....
