Hi Guys,

My sisters computer running Vista SP1 32bit has developed a few issues. On bootup she gets the following error messages:

errors.jpg

Now they are all for the same file Nvcpl.dll, which is to do with the Nvidia display drivers. I've reinstalled the drivers twice, once over the others, the second time I used driver sweeper. Both times this fixed the problem for a few reboots, before reappearing.

She has also had an issue with iTunes today, not sure if it is related. It just wouldn't start, the error message is below:

Untitled-2.jpg

I had to reinstall it to get it working again. She also had a issue with Windows Live Photo Gallery, again a dll problem.

Any ideas whats going on? Anyone had an experience with any of these type of errors?

Thanks,

Mark

A friend had a similar problem and after looking at his computer for him and uninstalling Nero 8 everything appeared to start working fine. Its been fine for weeks now.

It might be down to Nero 8 having so many plugins / codecs / services. I am not saying that this is the problem your sister may be having but its worth checking to see if she as Nero 8 installed and if so uninstalling it and rebooting

If this is the problem might be worth upgrading/downgrading the software version or like in my friends case installing Imgburn.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the replies.

No sign of Nero, although she may of had it installed and removed it a while back.

Ran Memtest 86+ today, 5 passes, no errors.

She says she also had issues with the internet, msn messenger works all the time, but the browser doesn't load google. Reboot tends to solve it.

Any suggestions?
