windows vista ready boost?

Assumption based on information overload i guess

I've just moved from xp32 to vista64 and am currently being a bit dissapointed with my hard drive crashing around for the first 5mins+ of booting into windows, I've assumed that its indexing itself so was curious as to whether readyboost would hold this index information and prevent it.

I got this flash card reader thing here and I wacked in a 4GB SD Card and Vista is using that for Readyboost now, I have 4GB ram so probs wont make any difference but worth a try!
