Windows Vista Reformat

Hi guys,

I've just reformatted my machine and re-installed Windows Vista Ultimate x64 and it is running EXTREMELY SLOW!

System Specs are -

Intel Xeon 5140 @ 2.33Ghz
5GB DDR2 RAM
8600GTS

Now, i've had this OS on this machine before and it ran very smooth but for some strange reason it is now dead slow.

I'm about to do a Disk Defrag and a Registry Cleanup but i'm not sure they will do anything.

Anyone have any ideas?

have you the latest chipset drivers for your motherboard installed? latest drivers from nvidia for your gfx?

Have you install all the divers.?

Drivers are all updated and working fine.
