Hi all, guess what??!! I have yet another problem!!! ha ha

ok, up till about 2 days ago Vista worked fine, then for no reason every time it tries to load, it dumps the physical memory, and re boots, it will continually do this, but it will load up no issues in safe mode!

any ideas??

thanks.

as above..

Don't ignore the log.. Look though it for references that may give you a clue..

The dump should be located in the root directory in a folder called Minidump.. However, it might not be swiched on..

Check the following anyway:

Control Panel>System>Advanced tab>Startup and Recovery

Under the section of System failure, Untick the "Automatically Restart"..

Tick the "Write an event to the system log"

Make sure you have Small memory dump" selected and you have the directory %SystemRoot%\Minidump"

This is XP but i don't think it's much different.

Next time you get the crash, check the event view for errors and google the respective code.
