Laptop came with Vista Home Premium 32-bit installed and the laptop is pretty crap but still plays WoW at decent settings and is good enough for web design. Basically wanted to know if its worth getting Vista 64-bit or go back to XP Professional to improve gaming on it as Guild Wars lags somewhat. I move around a lot so play them wherever and would rather not spend out on something else as this wasn't my laptop to begin with.

Some information -
Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU T2310 @ 1.46GHz 4.6 3.1
Memory (RAM) 2.00 GB
Graphics Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family
Gaming graphics 358 MB Total available graphics memory
- Dedicated system memory 128 MB
- Shared system memory 230 MB

I know its not meant for gaming but WoW runs smoothly, most services are shutdown and vista 32-bit is stripped down. The 64-bit one is stripped down and the system can run it, so would it be better to use my 64-bit gaming OS of vista or XP Professional?

64 bit will give you nothing and actually runs more services... If you get 4gb of ram, then 64bit is worth thinking about.

You could try XP Pro, but personally I'd have a look here and see if you can cut down how much memory vista uses by disabling un-needed services.

The 64-bit version is stripped and has minimal services running, it has 3GB of bloatware removed also, ie, its a proper version with a cd-key thats legit just slipstreamed with loads of stuff removed.

But thanks for that, I used his website to remove stuff on this already.
