Many of you will recall that Microsoft is running a Vista Upgrade Programme. Between certain dates, a new copy of Windows XP entitles you to a free upgrade to Vista. I've applied for 2 of these now, one from ModusLink and another directly with Dell. I applied for both in the middle of January. I have heard absolutely nothing since regarding either of the 2 orders. Has anyone here recieved their free upgrade copy?

Thanks,

Michael.

My order status has been COA Validated for a long time now. Does this mean I'm simply waiting for them to bother shipping it to me?

Thanks.

Hey

I am in the same position applied at the start of January the first time I applied I forgot to submit my Proof of purchase because the information in the email they send you is not very good! So make sure you have done that.

I haven't submitted anything. I haven't recieved any information regarding what to do other than an order confirmation. It says COA validated so I assume it doesn't need any proof.
