This is driving me a bit crazy, trying to sort out this problem,

All I want to do is what I consider to be a simple yet essential request. I want to have windows installed on C: and my Users folder on E: to keep it seperate, the same goes for programs I want them to be installed on E:

I have searched all over the net, tried different things ( e.g edit registry, move files, redirect) and the only thing that hal worked was choosing the location of all the items on start menu to point to E:, but this did not change my main user folder called 'MadMatt' on start menu as its default location is c:\users\madmatt.

Now it looks like iv messed up my vista installation for the 7th time and its starting to wind me up now. Is there a quick and easy way to do this, for example on installation of windows vista itself?

Thanks

Matt
