Windows Vista.

Hey,

I have 2 versions of windows vista, 32bit and windows 64bit...

Why i dont know one came with my puter...

ive had a lot of performance issues with the 64bit version within games etc,

my vista 32bit is installed on another machine.

would my 64bit CD key work with the 32bit cd? or would it give me a big fat no?

So you bought two copies of vista or you only bought one copy that came with two discs?

bought 2 machines one which came with 64 bit one which came with 32bit.

The keys are totally interchangeable from 32 to 64bit. There could be some vendor locking with the OEM discs though (although this is less prevalent in Vista and 7 than it was in XP)

Yeah the keys are specifically assigned to each unique copy.

Hmmmm if there interchangeable, Then i will give it a blast on the old Wiping and reinstalling. Didn't really want to format the hdd etc, If it was gonna result in epic fail
