More of a niggle than anything else. I've just aquired a sidewinder X6 keyboard, with a volume knob, upgrading from an aging logitech G15 first edition, also with a volume knob.
All the problem is, that I've had since Windows 7, is that the sound cuts out (mutes) at about 5% volume. I thought it may be the keyboard, but this one is identical. There is still a little play in the meter between 0% and where the sound actually cuts out around 5%.
Wondering if there is any quick fix, or more likely a driver issue with my Sound Blaster X-Fi. Not a huge problem, as I said, just a niggle, and would like to feed the OCD in me and get it to cut out at 0% as it should!
