I use msn and also on occasion the hotmail based version of winodws messenger for web, past 48 hours, when opening hotmail the web msn has started normally, but is stuck at the 'loading' message.

Any idea how to sort this?
Clearing internet cache cookies and friends have not helped.

Any account seems to get stuck at the same point, so i am wondering is there an object or equivalent I can delete and force it to be reloaded.

The plot thickens
Neither PC in this house hold can get msn web messenger working, yet msn messenger works perfectly fine

I've tried on IE and FF on both PCs, and all load hotmail perfectly fine, but the msn web messenger within hotmail sits stuck on 'loading'

It isn't just one account it is more than one account.

Any suggestions?

I don't think so.
It was working fine yesterday until around 10pm, when i signed out and maybe 30 minutes later tried to sign back in and it failed.

Wonder what port the webmessenger uses?

msn web messenger gets stuck on loading, even ona new box i installed this morning

i am assuming my router is the issue
i've reset it
I've updated its bios, same with my vm modem

what possible setting could be upon the router to allow msn traffic and web traffic but to block msn web messenger within hotmail

this works from other sites, and worked here up until i started this thread

any suggestions for what to look for on my router
