Windows wont boot...car pc project

Hi All,

I had the car PC up and running, pc booting up fine etc etc.

Disconnected the HDD and brought in in and connected to my main PC to transfer music & videos, along with trying to de-bug the sat nav. Got everything working fine from this computer.

This morning i connect the HDD up in the car, detects the HDD, however after the first screen (where you can press delete to enter bios) it just goes black with a flashing _ in the top left corner and wont go any further.

Can anyone tell me why this is doing this?

Mine did this when I left the USB stick in at bootup. Have you tried removing all peripherals except the keyboard and trying again?

yeah tried that, going to bring the PC in the house and hook it up, then try and fix the boot with the windows disk if i can find it!
