get to the choose partition window, and all of my partitions are all Unknown??
All partitions are NTFS, if this makes a difference? Does the drive have to be FAT32 then format it NTFS?

oh yes soz, win XP Proff, i have winxp Proff 64, and 32 allready installed, but i think my normall 32bit windows needs a reinstall.

Is your system a multi OS system ?
If so can it boot into any of them ?

It sounds as if the disc has been corrupted in some way. Might not be.

Is it on a raid controller needing raid/sata drivers when you first boot from the cd ?

i can boot into both OS, no worries, I have the Raid drivers, sata drivers. Just being bent to be honest. It won't matter if the drives are NTFS, it should be still seem??

well, installed both the sata and raid, in 32bit windows still does the same. Did the same for 64bit windows with the raid drivers and sata drivers and it said it couldnt find my hard drives? So if completely forgotten something, or summits borked!

BLOODY HECK! why dont asus put these drivers on the website? They are on the Mobo disk but not on their downloads..... grrrr

You don't need the nforce drivers as they are on the windows disc. You only install one driver not both, assuming you are not running a raid setup.
