windows wont load?!

help! i installed xp pro on my new system, enetred password and was in windows. then accidently pressed the reset button to pc case! now the bios runs throgh when i start the pc, but when it gets to where i think windows would normally be, it shows a blank screen!?

please give me some advice, have tried clearing cmos but still a blank screen!

I would reset the bios and if that didn't work i would try a repair wit the windows disc, and if that doesn't work just re-install windows , it's really not worth all the hassle.

Make sure the cd is out of the cd drive, and no usb drives are plugged in, like a flash pen etc.

yep sounds like a corrupted install! .....always best to use the reset button as a last resort! the amount of times i have corrupted drivers just pressing the reset button when ive not really needed to
