Windows wont show me my Computer info? ;S

I booted up my computer and i was just going to device manager when i realised windows wasnt showing me my CPU info + ram so i thought ill check on cpu z and when i open it i get an error saying that it must shut down etc.

I tryed a system restore and nothing

In device manager it picks up my CPU etc

(AMD athlon64 x2 4200+)
(asus a8n-Sli se)

Anyone no how to fix it?

Maybe check you have the right chipset drivers loaded.

Make sure you are using the 64-bit version of programs too.

Thats the newest version so it should pick that chip up.

When Windows wouldn't show me My Computer, I got an error.
Someone had gained control of our PC somehow and deleted it.
We just took it back to "where in the world..." and they gave us a brand new PC
