When I try to turn the pc off it just hangs at 'Saving your settings' and I eventually have to turn it off at the power. Looking at the event Viewer I get the following 2 logged when I try to turn the pc off:
Error: Windows Search Service
he per-user filter pool for session 0 could not be added.
Details:
The operation being requested was not performed because the user has not logged on to the network. The specified service does not exist. (0x800704dd)
For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
Error: Userenv
Windows saved user registry while an application or service was still using the registry during log off. The memory used by the user's registry has not been freed. The registry will be unloaded when it is no longer in use.
This is often caused by services running as a user account, try configuring the services to run in either the LocalService or NetworkService account.
For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
Any ideas on how to fix this annoying problem?
