Hey all

My computer has suddenly refused to boot into windows. I was using it last night and shut it down as normal, but when I tried to start it up today, the windows loading screen displayed for about 4 minutes and then I got a BSOD. The STOP message is "STOP 0x00000007B". Now this happens whenever I try to start up.

I haven't made any hardware or software changes since the computer was working. Safe mode works fine - I'm posting this message from safe mode with networking so I'm guessing my hard drive is alright.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Problem solved! All I had to do was... ahem... use system restore. I'm a bit of an eejit for forgetting about the most obvious troubleshooting option!
