I've just did a format and reinstalled windows because it would not load.
I first did a defrag, everything went ok. I then used Diskcleaner and it said 61GB was being used up in Temporary Files. Intrigued I went there manually and only found 3GB of old files in there. I deleted them manually then opened up Diskcleaner again and it said 58GB was being used up in Temporary Files still. I took a chance and let Diskcleaner remove whatever was left that I couldn't see then restarted my PC.
Upon loading Windows I got a blue screen then a near instant restart. I tried several times to repair Windows but to no avail.
What do you think caused this? Did Diskcleaner delete something important? Did I misinterpret what Temporary Files meant and should have left it alone?
