My system as in sig has been running Windows X64 for around 4 months with little to no problems. Recently and unpredictably it has started to lock up at random intervals, After these crashes when the machine is restarted i get a memory error during POST. If i turn the power off at the back of the computer and leave it for 15 mionutes or so it seems to boot up fine and then sometimes it can run with no problems at all. The windows error log doesn't seem to contain any critical messages just some tcp/ip pool errors and an application error regarding some device driver(Away from home atm so cant post exact error log). If this is being caused by an incompatible device driver with it being Windows Proffesional X64, How do i identify which driver it is and where it has come from as i havn't installed any new hardware or drivers and no cd emulation software or anything like that.

Any advice greatly appreciated

Windows generates this error signature:
BCCode : 50
BCP1 : FFFFFADFC5554C4A
BCP2 : 0000000000000000
BCP3 : FFFFFADFC0EDC0FF
BCP4 : 0000000000000000
OSVer : 5_2_3790
SP : 1_0 Product : 256_1

Then i get the voice message from BIOS saying "System Failed Memory Test"

If i leave it for 10 minutes then turn it back on it can run for quite some time without any problems sometimes even days.

If its a RAM problem is there any way to fix it like changing slots ? Or will i have to RMA it ?

You can try changing the slot order around and also try cleaning the gold contacts on the sticks but chances are you're going to have to RMA it. Luckily Crucial have one of the best RMA procedures in the business...
