I got this from support:

I want to mention that QINSy/Qloud is build for WinXP 32 bit version. If you want to use the WinXP 64 bit version this is possible but then you will need an emulator to convert back to 32 bit version. We strongly recommend using the WinXP 32 bit version.

This I guess is not true.

I am right to say that WinXP 64 runs 32bit programs without any problems and with no speed loss?

32bit programs work fine, there are no speed issues or anything like that. It's as if you're running a 32bit system.

i hate it when you get muppets working in support

havent quite grasped the concept of backwards compatability have we matey ? ever wondered how 64bit windows can run firefox which is a 32bit only programme ....

in answer to the OP. 64bit windows has both a 32 and 64 bit subsystem, so it can run either natively without the use for an emulator. Ignore their gibberish and you should be able to run the app fine.
