Windows XP and CPU's

Just a quick question about windows 64X is there a limit of how many CPU's can windows xp 64x and 2003 64x use? I have a dual cpu p4 board and heard somewhere that xp can only use 2 cores. Is this true?

XP can use up to two seperate processors, dual core is still equal to one CPU in Windows view.

SO you can use two dual core CPU's if you wish.

Task manager will show 4 CPU's though

Ok thanks. One more question does windows treat hyperthreading the same way as dual core?
