We had a generator test last week at work and since then we've got a standalone machine that's having some boot issues…
The machine is protected by a UPS and a surge protector but eventually went don't on its own. When we resumed normal the machine simply refused to boot - it got to "verifying pool data…" and then just froze. We went into the xp recovery console and did a chkdsk, fixboot and a fixmbr and we now get the windows xp slash screen but when that finishes the machines simply reboots
Any ideas?
