Windows XP - Dual Boot

I have configured a dual boot Windows XP Pro system on one physical hard drive. I used Partition Magic 8 to process this - I split the drive straight down the middle calling one partition GREEN and the other BLUE. Both of these partitions are primary partitions and one is obviously set as active.

When I boot up the system I am presented with an option to boot into GREEN or BLUE. However when I log into BLUE for example and save a document to the C:\ Drive and then reboot and log into GREEN the changes appear on C:\ i.e it is using the same space. I want to configure this system so that when logging into BLUE the users cannot see the GREEN partition and vice versa (have each partition hidden to one another) Please find below a copy of my boot.ini

[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="BLUE" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS="GREEN" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect

Partition Magic 8 Details

Disk 1

BLUE (C: ) Type = NTFS Size = 19,069.8 Status = Active Primary
GREEN (*) Type = NTFS Size = 19,092.0 Status = Hidden Primary

I would be grateful for any assistance.

Thanks,

A

I don't know the solution.

Perhaps you can boot into one OS and disable the drive letter of the other partition and do that as well on the other install?

XP Dual Boot System

I tried that yet in disk management & Partition Magic the offending drive does not have a drive letter assigned to it. The drives are configured to be hidden from one another.

Any other ideas?....
