Hi Guys
I don't post too often, but was wondering if someone could help me out with a problem please.
I have just returned home from Uni for Easter and (stupidly) offered to sort out my sisters laptop. I just installed Windows XP Professional with SP2 but I get a message on starting the computer up that I have never seen before.
Please select the operating system to start:
Microsoft Windows XP Professional
Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
Yes she did have Windows XP Home on the laptop first, but I could have sworn I formatted the C drive, deleted all partitions and then created a brand new partition that I installed XP Professional on.
Clearly I have made a mistake somewhere along the line and was wondering if there was a way for me to get rid of the XP Home Edition from the laptop without having to do everything all over again as I have spent most of this afternoon updating drivers, updates online, installing software etc.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Marco
