Windows XP Home help???

Hi @ll,

Just a quick one I hope, my son has gone and some how deleted a file from his pc :mad:

Now when it boots it say's that the NTLDR is missing :confused:

is there a way of fixing this? or it it a case of format C/drive and start again?

do you have another pc?
if not you can run the xp setup utility on your install disk and choose the recovery console option then type fixboot then fix mbr I think that will fix the problem.

Yeah the above advice should be enough, or you could choose the repair facility on windows XP install disk.
