windows XP index errors??? or maybe security descriptor errors??

Advanced system care disk doctor reports index errors in my C: drive. NOrton system works reports no index errors but instead reports security descriptor errors?

WHat to do??????????????????? Running windows XP. System appears OK at the moment.

The first thing to do is use more question marks!

Next, open a command prompt and type in

chkdsk

And see what it says. If there are problems, run

chkdsk /F

Then say yes about running at startup. Reboot.
