Windows XP Log in screen

Everytime i turn my PC on it loads but stops at the log in screen and i have to click my username..why is this? i dont see the point i have no password and i'm the only user so why doesnt it just log on automaticly? my old PC used to!

Can anyone help?

Tweakui power for XP allows you set set a user as autologin

Type in run:

control userpasswords2

Then choose your options
