Hi,

This is a strange question, i have my computer set to use the CTRL + ALT + DEL security feature when i go to login. I would like to know if possible how to change the wallpaper of this screen, i know how to change the color of the background but not give it a wallpaper.

Thanks in advance

er no, that's not quite right. he can already set solid colors, he wants a wallpaper..... :p

here's how you do it. open regedit, browse to

HKEY_USERS\.default\control panel\desktop

change the value of

wallpaper

to the full path of the background image. :)

Cheers that did the trick :)

Hi,

On second thoughts i logged my system off so it went back to the CTRL ALT + DEL screen and the wallpaper was changed :)

However if i reboot the computer then the wallpaper doe snot show up on the CTRL ALT + DEL screen any ideas?

No wallpaper just resides in 'My Pictures' folder, there is no permission on it what so ever it just seems strange it's not there on reboot

Hi,

I have tried moving the image to both the shared folder and the root of the system however, in both cases the wallpaper shows when i log off, but still doe snot show on restart or boot up / down, any more ideas?

Was just about to post :) i noticed that bliss.bmp was the only bmp in the folder i changed my image to a bmp and it works fine, thanks anyways :)
